A lone shuttle cuts through the fading light, its engines humming against a skyline alive with flickering holograms. As the last traces of sunset dissolve into a deep electric dusk, the city of Europa breathes, neon reflections dancing across steel and glass, where technology and isolation blur into something almost human.

Breakdown
This piece was created using a combination of Blender for the base render and Photoshop for final polish.
The scene was blocked out with simple geometry, focusing on composition and scale first. Displacement maps were then used to quickly add complexity and surface detail to buildings without heavy modeling.
Holograms were built using emissive materials combined with alpha textures. Subtle distortion were added to break up the projection and give it a more believable, glitchy feel. Lighting was kept minimal and directional to emphasize the late sunset mood, allowing emissive element to drive the focal point.
Final rendering passes were composited in Photoshop. Photobashing was used to enrich the environment with extra structures and details, while maintaining the original perspective. The piece was unified through color grading, cool tones in the shadows contrasted with warm highlights, followed by bloom, atmospheric haze, and film grain to achieve a cinematic finish.
